Marketing for Shopify Stores and Product Brands in Metro Vancouver

We run our own Shopify apparel brand: the store, the Meta ads, the presale launch, the reviews and the factory order. That is the experience we bring to product brands in Metro Vancouver that need a store that converts and ads that pay for themselves.

Metro VancouverBrands & E-commerce

01Why Vanguard for shopify stores

We run our own Shopify apparel brand. The store, the Meta ad creative and campaigns, the presale launch, the review app, the pixel and conversions API, and the factory order behind it are all ours. Product brands in Metro Vancouver get the same setup, built by people who paid for their own mistakes first.

How we work

02The challenge

What Shopify Stores and Product Brands struggle with online.

  • Ad spend climbs while return on ad spend falls, and nobody can say which creative is doing the work
  • The store converts at one percent because the product page answers none of the buyer's questions
  • A launch sells out or flops with no presale to read demand in advance
  • Reviews are thin, so every first-time buyer is taking your word for it
  • Email and SMS are an afterthought, so repeat purchases never compound

03Search intent

How your customers search.

Product buyers arrive from three places: an ad that stopped them mid-scroll, a search for the product type with a qualifier like "Canada" or "Vancouver," or a brand search after seeing it somewhere. Each needs a different landing page. Ad traffic needs the product page to answer size, fit, shipping and returns without a click. Search traffic needs collection pages that rank. Brand searches need the homepage to load fast and show the reviews.

04SEO strategy

Our approach for Shopify Stores and Product Brands.

  • Collection pages built around how people actually search for the product type, with real copy rather than a bare grid
  • Product pages that answer size, materials, shipping, returns and care on the page itself, with review schema
  • A Canada and Vancouver angle on every page, since local buyers convert at a higher rate and ship cheaper
  • Blog and lookbook content that gives each product a reason to exist beyond the listing
  • Clean technical setup: fast theme, no app bloat, proper canonicals on variants and filtered collections

05The playbook

Four channels, one plan for Shopify Stores and Product Brands.

Local SEO. Website. Reviews. Ads.

01

Local SEO and Google Business Profile

A product brand with a Vancouver base should say so. A Google Business Profile for the studio or pickup location, local pickup as a shipping option, and a Vancouver or BC mention on the About page all lift local conversion and open up "near me" searches for the product type.

02

Website and Conversion Tips

Speed first: every app you add slows checkout. Product pages need size guides, real photos on real people, shipping and returns above the fold, and reviews visible without scrolling. Set up a presale flow before a launch so you read demand and fund inventory. We have set all of this up on our own store and know which apps are worth the monthly fee.

03

Review and Reputation Strategy

Ask for a review with a photo two weeks after delivery, by email and SMS, with a small incentive on the next order. Show reviews on the product page and the homepage. Reply to the critical ones publicly. A product with thirty photo reviews outsells the same product with three.

04

Google Ads and Paid Media

Meta ads carry most product brands. Build creative in sets, test hooks before budgets, and measure by purchases with the pixel and the conversions API both firing. Run Google Shopping for the product-type searches. Retarget viewers and cart abandoners with reviews first, discounts second.

06Common questions

Shopify Stores marketing questions.

Do you actually run a Shopify store?

Yes. We run our own apparel brand on Shopify, including the store build, Meta ads, a presale launch, reviews and the supplier order. We learned what works by spending our own money on it.

What should a Shopify store spend on ads?

Enough to get useful data, which for most small brands is a few hundred dollars a week across a handful of creative tests, before scaling what works. We set up tracking first so the spend teaches you something.

Can you help with a product launch?

Yes. A presale page, an email and SMS list built before launch day, creative ready in sets, and inventory ordered against real demand. That is how we launch our own products.
